I sought one night
For a way to flee
From this pale dream
With cruel eyes, closed,
It seems,
Not for paths,
Nor for roads,
Still the dawn was vain
But plain circles formed
Around the sheets
Of deformed flesh
The angel came
Sharp was the sword in hand
Dark its wings were spread
It fell tonight
In red blood
Blue the skin
Though white his hands
Bloody eye, bright with light
Of darkest lands
An oath it was
To be sure to slay
The corpses on the grave
A mere thought he thought
Drawn the blade
Pierced the ground
Slowly bled
Two thousand words
Slowly grinned
One Dreamland’s death
Fades on time
The wound he left
Tight the rope around his neck
Sat on dirt
One moment’s gone
Three hundred wait
Plead the sea
For foam not red
As nods the need to stay
Staggered down
One lullaby
In time the withered cried
Took a step of thrown dice
Placed the finger on the sled
A hesitation,
Perhaps a doubt
Threw his glance
To broken wings
Black feathers on the tomb
Was begotten
Was forgotten
Cleared skies of broken glass
Shattered stars of
Friendly lives
Once again he cried
The scream was bold
Was eager to despair
Then he fell for he had failed
Just one second
It was gone
The tide was low
The waves were high
It was just, as was foreseen
Lifted up the morning, fresh,
The curse untold
It was his, made
I fled the madness
Of the day
I crushed the heart
Of its “today”
Sighted in sight of one big pool
Of morning’s dew
Hugged in feathers of
Yawning birds
It was the angel, dust
In ashes, gold
One gleam of
Shadowed love
Mierda, Luchito... Qué buen poema.
ResponderEliminarGracias! Jejeje.. :) es uno de mis favoritos y si leiste la barra de la derecha, verás que justamente es uno de los que les da el nombre a mi poemario. :)
ResponderEliminarSi, si... lo vi. Ya había leído cosas tuyas que me habían gustado mucho, pero este... sencillamente me ha impactado. Va mucho con tu personalidad, y de paso me recuerda un poco a los poetas románticos de inglaterra. Buena, Luchín, jaja.
ResponderEliminarvery nice :)
